Durham Gilesgate Sports College & Sixth Form Centre boasts a wide range of facilities and sports available to its students. Current facilities include:

Facilities at the Sports College will be enhanced in September 2008 with the opening of a state of the art sports venue on College grounds. The venue will include:

The Sports College is able to provide its students with a vast range of sports which are both mainstream and new, developing activities. Some of these non traditional PE activities include: archery, rowing, rock climbing, trampoline, roller hockey, handball and golf
