David  Clark - World Cycle Attempt

David  Clark, 16 (from Mr King's Tutor group 30)  is attempting to cycle the world, and break 2 world records along the way...

- Fastest person to cycle the world

- Youngest person to cycle the world

- Plans are to do it august 2011, just turned 18 years of age.

FACTS

Total Distances- Cycling-  At least 18,000 miles. Overall distance needs to be at least 24,000 miles.

- Current record = 170 days. His goal = 150 - 160 days (average of 114.3 - 121.9 miles per day)
- Current record for youngest person = 23 years old. David will only be 18 years old.
- Calorie input per day = 4500
- Cost = estimated at £45,000
- David already has one sponsor, Evosite- creating and running his website, free of charge. (which will be up and running by the end of February.)
