We encourage and greatly value the opinion of students. We therefore provide the opportunity for their voice to be heard in a variety of settings.
Meet the School Council
We look after the interests of the students in Years 7 to 11. We have the opportunity to raise matters of concern and we are consulted about matters of school life.
Meet the Student Aspirations Team
This group of students works with a corresponding staff team, to raise the aspirations of young people throughout the establishment.
This group operates as part of an initiative, linked to an American University, to create the conditions within which young people aspire to actively pursue their ambitions.
Meet the Sports Council
This group of students contribute towards leading sporting initiatives throughout the school. They represent their peers enabling them to become partners in their own education.
Meet the Anti-Bullying Team
As well as students being involved in specific councils, the school is actively promoting the involvement of students in Subject Panels, so that their voice can be heard regarding curriculum delivery and so that they can play a more active role in the learning process.
